I am a student at NIT Durgapur as I am pursuing B.Tech from Civil Engineering. I chose this branch because I had interest in building planning. My JEE rank allowed to choose this institute. One should go to this institute because it is an institution of National Importance where you learn things among the brightest minds and gain knowledge while exploring many new things. My overall Institute experience till now has been good. I chose this Institute as it was the best option which I was getting at the time of JOSAA counseling and also the ECE department of this Institute was very good. I don't think that there is any big difference between this Institute and others. However they are very strict when it comes to ragging.
