Faculties here are great and some of them are very much professionally advanced. Here you can easily find a Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award winner roaming here and there. Most of them motivate you to study hard. After every class, your zeal to learn more is ignited. The faculty here is so good and everyone is very good in their area of expertise. Students don't feel hesitated in contacting them. They are so kind and friendly with you. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well maintained. many of the professors use smart boards and teach using PPTs. some professors use blackboards but it doesn't matter because every professor give their best to make students understand the topic.Read Full Review

At present, IIT Kanpur has a total of 447 faculty members across different departments. These members are responsible for teaching and guiding the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from various departments. These faculty members are highly qualified, experienced and specialists of their respective fields. Their way of teaching is just awesome. They allow their students to ask a doubt even in between the lectures, but you have to be polite. The only issue with the faculty is that their grading system is somewhat very tough. I have heard from my batch mates from other IITs about their average grading which is slightly more than that of IIT Kanpur. But the thing that matters is what you have learnt, and you will find the quality of teaching provided by these faculty members better than your expectations.Read Full Review
