Assam Engineering College Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Guwahati

Yes, there is hostel facility in the college and there is a separate hostel for the first year student. There are 9 hostels in the college in which 1 hostel is for girls and the other 8 for boys. The number of rooms are dependent on hostel. In my hostel, there are total 57 rooms and in 1 room, there is a accommodation of two students. All the hostels have their separate mess run by the hostel students or the hostel superintendent. The food quality of my hostel is nice and provides 3 meals a day that is breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The timings of the meals are fixed. If you take hostel, then there is a hostel registration fee that is taken at the time of admission only with the tuition fee and there is a monthly mess fee, which is about Rs. 3000. There are strict rules of hostel and have in time in the hostel in my hostel 7:30 PM is the in time of the hostel after that gate of the hostel is locked but in the senior hostel the in time is different. The college consists of total 9 hostels in which 8 hostels are for boys and 1 hostel is for girls. In every hostel there's a high-speed internet connection of 100mbs. For first year students there are 2 separate hostels out of the 8 hostels. In every room there 2 students intake. The mess food is average and quite hygienic. There are no particular timings for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students but for 1st year students the in time in the hostel is 7.30 PM. The hostel rooms are good. They are available in twin sharing. The bathroom and toilets are also clean. The mess food is not up to the mark. One time security fee of hostel is Rs. 15,000 and monthly, students have to pay Rs. 3,000.Read Full Review
