    Yes, there is placement cell in Assam Engineering College and the overall placement is decent they help a lot to the students to acquire jobs. For placement many workshop take place in the college and many internship also given to students, which helps students to build themselves that, helps in placement. Some PSUs like NRL, ONGC, Power grid, IOCL, and APDCL are the top recruiters and many private companies like Infotech, L&T, Cognizant, and IBM. In 2024, chemical engineering took the highest package that was 24 LPA in which 8 students got the highest package recruited by NRL and the average package of the college was 7 LPA.Read Full Review

    The placement cell at Assam Engineering College is highly active and every year new companies used to visit the college. The placement cell is run by both students and the faculties. Many known companies visit the college for placement drive. There are many known PSU's that visit the college too such as NRL (Numoligarh Refinery Limited), ONGC (Oil Natural Gas Limited), etc. The highest package in 2024 was offered by NRL to 8 students which 24 LPA and the average package of Assam Engineering College in 2024 is 7 LPA.Read Full Review

    AEC Guwahati Placement: Top Recruiters & Packages
    From the 7th semester, the students get campus placement. There are more than 50 good companies including Bajaj, LG, L & T constructions, Gammon, Tata, NRL, ONGC, and many more offering different jobs. The highest package in this year is 24 LPA from Chemical Engineering. The average package is 10 to 12 LPA. The percentage of student placement is very good. More than 60 percent students are placed every year. Some of them established their own startups. My plan is to get a good job and a dream of civil services.Read Full Review
