MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE), Howrah offers separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls both on and off-campus. • At the hostel premises, acts such as ragging, causing physical & mental harm, and abuse or any unlawful activities are intolerable. Strict action will be taken against those students who are found involved in such activities.
• All residents should enter the hostel premises by 9:00 PM which is before the roll call.
• Female hostellers must obtain written permission from the hostel authorities if they remain outside the premises (for more than 2 hours) after the specified timings which is 6:30 PM.
• Students should avoid shouting, playing loud music, or engaging in any other activities that may disturb other residents.
• Any electrical appliances such as radio, sound system, electric iron or geyser are not permitted inside the hostel rooms.
• The property of the hostel like walls, furniture, fixtures, etc. should not be damaged by the hostellers either intentionally or unintentionally, otherwise they will be liable to pay a fine.
• Outside visitors and non-residents are not allowed to stay in the hostel premises after 8:00 PM unless they have prior permission from the warden.
• Alcohols, drugs or other intoxicating items are strictly banned at the Institute’s hostel premises.

The Institute provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students with a safe environment. In MCKV Institute of Engineering Campus, there are separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys’ hostel can accommodate around 102 students, whereas the girls' hostel has seating capacity for approximately 90 students.
