My experience at MIT Manipal has been quite good overall. It may not be perfect, but it is a solid balance between academics and student life. A typical day for me includes attending classes, going to the gym, studying a bit, hanging out with friends over dinner, and taking a walk around campus, which is one of the most peaceful things to do here in my opinion. The studies here are not overly difficult but you do need to put in lot of personal effort to stay on track. While not all professors are equally engaging, but some are knowledgeable and supportive. Some of the reasons I chose MIT Manipal was because it was relatively close to my home (Bangalore) and had a good reputation as a Tier - 2 engineering college in India. At the time of joining, it had great placement stats, a strong alumni network and it is known for it is fun and vibrant student life. The thing that makes MIT Manipal standout is the energy of the place. It is a student town through and through. No matter where you go in Manipal, students, activity and a sense of community surround you. This is one of the best things about this place. I was bit hesitant to join this institute but my opinion changed completely after joining it. The faculty is amazing and solves our doubts without hesitation. The infrastructure of institute is just phenomenal. It has an indoor arena, which has excellent facilities. The research facility is also best. You should definitely join this institute if you want to live you institute life to the fullest, be it partying or studying.Read Full Review
