National Law University Odisha Cuttack Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure is fine, but can be improved to some extent. Campus size is also fine. There is a library, seminar hall, auditorium, and good number of lecture halls. A sports room and adequate facilities are there for sports as well. My favorite place is library, as it gives me mental peace, positive vibes, and motivates me to study. There are university buses for transportation but they don't go everywhere, so you can use local bus services of Odisha, which are very affordable and convenient.

There is a huge campus, where you can walk, organize events, and enjoy them. There are many committees to join and enhance your coordination & leadership skills. Two fests are held annually, one in each semester, known as ‘Hunar’ and ‘Kairaan’, both the fests are amazing. Moreover, you get cult nights & movie nights to enjoy and have fun for some time. The infrastructure is not the best and is constantly at danger with heavy rainfalls due to the location of the college. However, there are repairs and construction to ensure the safety and meet the needs of the students and ensure availability of resources to them. The NLUO library being the most recent addition to the infrastructure of the university checks all the boxes with seating capacity that expands over three big air conditioned floors and availability of a wide number of books which are open to students.

The best thing about the college is its campus life hands down. If you like people observing then you will have a joyride and even if you do not there are lots of places on campus where you can sit down and contemplate life decisions. You will find people and food on campus at all times no matter be it 3 am or 3 pm. There is never a dull moment on campus.Read Full Review

Currently as of 2025, NLUO has improved infrastructure. We have one of the largest law libraries in Asia. We have a huge well-equipped academic block and a large modernistic auditorium. The academic block consists of classrooms chambers of faculties, seminar hall, moot court hall, and tutorial rooms. Cultural programs and popular seminars take place in the auditorium. There is admin block where administrative work happens. In addition to all of this, the university has a gym, park, football ground, basketball court, and badminton and tennis court. There is Nescafe shop in the campus along a juice shop, a fast food center. Lastly, a cricket ground, guesthouse and a medical facility is under construction.

The campus life at NLUO is good. The student community is involved in several activities throughout the academic year, starting from sporting activities, academic seminars, and visits of several centers to cultural programmes like the annual Fest 'Kairaan'. Extracurricular activities fill up most of the time during a semester. The university hosts 'Viraj' which is the flagship sports program and 'Kairan' which the annual fest. Apart from this every year second year students organize freshers for the first year students and the fourth year students organize a farewell for the outgoing fifth years. Hence, the cultural committee is good at NLUO. The university crowd is hugely diverse. Students literally come from all parts of the country from various socio cultural backgrounds adding up to the multicultural aspect of the university.Read Full Review
