    Placement Facilities at NIT Calicut: Companies and High Salary
    I am pursuing B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. I chose this branch as I felt it is the best option as far as my JEE rank is concerned. For securing seat in the institute, you must give JEE Main examination and clear it with a good score. Admissions are done through JOSAA counselling process which takes place after the JEE Advance examination in the month of June. In a semester, students are required to write a mid semester examination and end semester examination of their respective courses taken. Academics at NIT Calicut are not too stressful and gives students ample amount of time for exploring many other things.
    Fee structure in NIT Calicut depends on the annual income of your family. Per semester, a student needs to pay Rs. 62,500 tuition fee and around Rs. 40,000 of mess and hostel fee. However, if your family income is between 1 Lakh to 5 Lakh, you will get 2/3rd tuition fee waiver and if your income is below 1 Lakh, then are not required to pay the tuition feeRead Full Review

    NIT Calicut's College Experience: Clubs, Fests, and More
    To get into NIT Calicut you need at least 96 percentile in JEE examination. I chose Production Engineering because I got this course in JOSAA counselling, based on my rank. In my opinion academics in this institute is not so tough, one can easily score good CGPA in every sem if they work accordingly. There are frequent exams in every sem. There are practical labs classes in the course, which will help you in real life.
    There is scholarship for students whose family income is less than 1 Lakh; you will get reimbursement of the entire amount you paid at NIT Calicut as scholarship.Read Full Review

    Academics Facilities of NIT Calicut: Teachers, Facilities, and More
    I chose B.Tech in Production Engineering. It is sub branch of Mechanical Branch. I chose this course since it is the best I can get with my rank in JEE. To get into NIT Calicut you will need a minimum of 96 percentile in JEE examination. In this course, frequency of exam is very high. We have to write mid sem, end sem exam and other than that, assignments and quizzes will be there throughout the year. It is not that easy but we are able to pull this off.
    In NIT Calicut fees is very high, even though we got into this institute after JEE examination. Currently I am Paying Rs. 75,000 per sem.Read Full Review
