Strictly speaking, the medical college does not have a distinct placement department. However, all students, once they’re on the verge of completing their corresponding courses, start interning at the adjacent hospital inside the campus. The students also have to complete a mandatory IDCOP (Inter Disciplinary Community Orientation Program) that goes a long way in helping them to become more consummate and empathetic professionals. According to the program, the trainee doctors spend 2 weeks practicing in a rural primary healthcare unit. They also have to spend 1 week in a similar healthcare center situated in an urban area close to the college.
Majority of the alumni of RMC are employed in well-known hospitals, clinics, research institutions, and several other medical organizations in the country as well as abroad.
