SVCE Kanchipuram Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering really has some good and positive vibes. As you enter there's a lot of greenery which always makes you feel fresh. The college has good infrastructure that is the reason behind me joining this college along with it having an old legacy. The other reasons include popularity in Chennai area and of course good placement opportunities. I would suggest students to join this college because of good placements and better exposure to day to day technologies. Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram is pretty good comparing to many other Colleges and perhaps it should rank among the top 5 private Engineering Colleges in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu district. I came here for their Placement records but right now, they are not what it used to be. They give training every year especially for Placement and there will be a lot of time for you to learn skills yourself apart from academics. The Placement Cell brings in some good companies; you can't blame them for not bringing in companies, because the reason why it dipped was due to the lack of skill set. So, if you care enough to learn the required skills, you'll get placed with a very good package. Apart from this, you'll find your time in this College very good because of its freedom. It gives you a jolly vibe throughout your time, since the rules are not that strict unlike other Colleges. There are a lot of clubs you can be a part of and that actually helps in improving your social and leadership skills. Faculties are somewhat friendly and some might help you with projects and ideas. There used to be a lot of faculties with decades of experience but now there are only a handful of them. You'll enjoy everything and hate only a little bit.Read Full Review

My overall experience in this college has been really amazing. There are not many restrictions, and the faculties and seniors are friendly and helpful. The college has a lush green campus which is well-maintained, and they give equal importance to academics and sports.Read Full Review
