SJES College of Management Studies MBA Fees Structure 2026 & Admission Process, Bangalore

As soon as college started, within a week, the timetable or the schedule of the first internals was announced. We were always thrown into situations that brought out nocturnal behavior in us. The normality I thought will be restored after the first internals. But no, the next exam date was announced. Before, we could realize we were at the end of our first semester. The same went in the second semester and things went so thick and fast. Within the blinking of an eye, we were done with our first year. We were asked to join some internship programs as college will provide us with a NOC for that. Finding it on my own was the most terrible thing as I didn’t have any connections and couldn’t get engaged in an internship. The students who did benefit and I started the final year on a back foot. Luckily college took us on an industrial tour. And provided all the exposure that an MBA student needed. That more or less covered up the things I missed.

MBA requires a lot of assignment writing and case study solving. We had done that to the core for entire two years which had some mini-breaks in between. Study break, internship break and semester breaks. The pace of the education picked up as soon as the semester started inching closer. So, just like the Indian DNA, as soon as the tail was on fire, everything went messy yet we were on target and passing percentage of the college was close to 80%. We also had the options to clear backlog in one month and that was the best part. Rather than giving up on a semester this method was a boon for students who failed in one or two subjects.

MBA general here is the second course because the 1st course here is Aviation management. So, students of MBA general will always be a second fiddle. I don't mind being second, because the quality of education is seamless and the process is followed which indeed followed at SJES. The classrooms are advanced and MBA needs more assignments and projects to learn things. Hence, from learning through projects and workshops, it was an amazing experience as a technical student might lack business attributes but a businessman can hire the best people with technical attributes. So, that's the difference between a management and an engineering student.
