In overall according to me, GITAM is a pretty average university. Studies are moderate, extracurricular activities are good but placements and all are average. Overall, GITAM is a good college and has a lot of positives and negatives. Positives are mostly about the campus life, infrastructure and college environment. Ragging is very less and student life is very good in here. Students get very good support from college, a mentor is appointed for every student, who helps them in different issues. I choose this college because my father liked this college. I also got a scholarship of 50% which made me choose this college. It was also because I could go to home immediately if I wanted to since it was near to my house. Unlike other colleges, it is near to vizag city which is a major reason why most students join this college. Overall, GITAM is good college with pretty good infra, campus life and all. If you join here be sure to study on your own and don’t depend upon professors and all. Professors here might be a disappointment, but the library here surely isn’t. The library has no book which you cannot find.
