JIIT is considered as one of the best private college in North India region. This college used to have a nice reputation in the market. My parents wanted me to study here because it is close to where I live (approx 3hrs distance). JIIT is a good choice if you are opting for private colleges and did not score well in JEE because of whatsoever reason. It's quite easy to take admission here because it has seats for both JEE and boards students. Board’s students get equal opportunity to be enrolled in higher branches.

I did not score well in my JEE. So my only options were those institutes that provided admission only on the basis of my 12th percentage. JIIT was the best among all the colleges available and luckily I got admission here in my desired course and branch. The institute requires you to fill their University entry form and conducts counseling. Every student is allotted a rank on the basis of applications received by the college. The students are then called for offline counseling and allotted the stream in the basis of their rank.

Most of the faculty members are old and highly distinguished IIT pass outs. Though they have big degrees in their pockets, very few of them know how to teach. They are barely audible and grumpy. I think JIIT is in need of young minds with enthusiasm and energy along with intelligence that can be shared.

Yes JIIT has a strong placement cell. The college has a record of 100% placements. The average package ranges from 6-7 lakh.

Yes, the college has hostels for both boys and girls. Two people have to share a room and the rooms and the roommate is allotted by the college themselves. Though you can change your roommate by submitting a proper application to the warden.

The campus size is quite small. Only 15 acres. There is this academic block where all the classes for B.Tech students are held. JBS is where classes of business related students are held. The college has a library called LRC (Learning Resource Centre). It is open till 9 pm on weekdays and 5 on weekends. There is no such huge specific area for sports.

The campus life is okay. Impressions is the college's annual fest that is organised by JYC (Jayvee Youth Club) in the month of February. The quality of the fest has degraded since covid, and only students from our college are allowed to attend it. Numerous competitions and fun activities are organised by various hubs for impressions. Another fest basically TechFest is organised by the student by of IEEE where students get the chance to showcase their talent by participating in contests and hackathons.
