Overall Rating
My experience is good about academics, extracurricular activities, and most important the college fests. The cult fest, sport, and tech are all the best part of my college life. I like it and that's why I choose IIT BHU as my preference and the placement is also good, if you are passionate about something then you will definitely get it here.
 

Academics Rating
I opted for civil engineering in 2019 for that opening and closing rank (JEE advanced) was in between 5000-8000. If you planning to go for government position then civil is best choice. Also you can go for any stream, it is up to you what you want to do branch is just for degree completion.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is good you will get a lot to understand from them. If you need to do some research then they will surely help you. The faculty recruitment process in IITs is really very different and difficult from other private colleges. Minimum requirements are that the faculty must be an IIT graduate and completed his Ph.D from a top class institute.
 

Placement Rating
The IIT BHU is known for his placement. Various companies come here for hiring in various domains like software developer, data science, consultant, core profiles, etc. The package range is varying from 10-50 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are about 15 hostels in IIT BHU and every hostel is equipped with facilities such as mess, badminton court, and garden. Every hostel has about 200 rooms and 2 occupancy rooms are currently available. Overall experience is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is growing in IIT BHU. There are several new buildings built like student activities centre where you get sports activities and gym facilities also. The 10 floors in new Satish Dhawan Hostel which is very good. Connectivity with the city is also good as the campus is open so you can easily access to the city.
 

Campus Rating
There are 3 councils in our college. Science and Technology Council, Cultural Council, and Sport Council. There are about 10+ clubs available in each council. It's your interest which council you choose. There is a benefit of having a membership in any club because it would give you a chance to showcase your skills in different events like Inter-IIT.

    IIT BHU is currently ranked 10 in NIRF ranking 2024. The college has very good environment for academics and personal development. So many clubs and societies are there to help a student in his / her extracurricular growth. The college has tech clubs like aero modeling, robotics, coding club, and more.     The overall experience at IIT BHU is like dream fulfilling, had a rigorous curriculum, research opportunities and highly educated faculties for the academics. I really like the sports facilities offered by the institute and joyful & memorable experiences at the festivals.     My overall experience at the institute until now is amazing. The one thing that makes this institute different from other IITs is spirituality and serenity this place holds. Authorities are excessively concerned for mental and physical health of students. Moreover, the faculty members and seniors are also helpful. There is no ragging culture unlike other colleges.
