Overall Rating
It's one of the most beautiful campuses in India. It lies near Dal lake which gives an astonishing view through the year. The morning view from the campus feels like magical as there are mountains and when sun rises between them. Well after getting my JEE rank I appeared in JOSSA counseling and got my seat in Information technology in NIT Srinagar.
 

Academics Rating
The course I am currently pursing is Information Technology. For getting into this college one should qualify JEE Examination with good rank that is around 10k to 20K rank in general. And based on those rank you have to apply in counseling like JOSSA and CSAB, and wait for their counseling result. Once you have secured your seat, and then can follow further procedure according to college notification for verification.
 

Faculty Rating
In NIT Srinagar, faculty members are top qualified, they are graduated from top IITs, NITs, and have various research experience in their fields. There are few professors who come under top 2 percent scientists. Professors here are very cooperative towards students. They have formed committees to help student in their counseling’s.
 

Placement Rating
NIT Srinagar has its own T&P Cell through which various which various company's HR comes to interview and select candidates for their company roles. Students get on and average package of 12 LPA. So yes NIT Srinagar really helps student to acquire job in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
NIT Srinagar has its own residential facilities. For 1st year to 3rd year students have to share their room with 5 members including them. Overall infrastructure of this college is very well define as in front of every hostel there is a garden for outdoor activities, which help them physically, it also have gymnasium. The food quality is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Srinagar have divided its building on the basis of branch, each branch has its own block academic block which contains various training facilities. Various workshops are available, computer lab are available for students for limited periods after the academics are over. It has its own auditorium (under construction).
 

Campus Rating
NIT Srinagar's campus life is astonishing. The view from my hostel windows defines a magical feeling. During winters college is covered with snowfall. Crowd in the college is about 700-800 per year student. NIT Srinagar has various clubs as well like coding club, music club, sport club, Drama club. Every year it hosts 2 fests (cultural fest, Techavanga fest).

    National Institute of Technology, Srinagar is one of the premier educational institutes in the Northern Regions of the country. The institute is full of beautiful spots and scenery, here, serenity truly meets the technology. The view of Dal Lake is just breathtaking and with mountains at the background is just cherry on top.
