Review of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
When you enter the college you will definitely feel that you are in a different world, as you feel unity in diversity and evergreen campus. The most attractive thing is campus life. I'm sure that you will definitely enjoy it.
 

Academics Rating
Apart from the other colleges here you can find up to 8 different types of engineering departments in which few of them are rare. The entry is through EAPCET, state exam of Andhra Pradesh. But remember that you should at least get a 3 digit rank to secure seat in computer science. The curriculum is entirely different and can teach you and make you a complete software engineer.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is the best thing that I love here. As every professor is 30+ years experienced and at least once in a year many professors get selected and awarded with best professor awards. They teach and train you to compete in outside hackathons and events which will give you exposure to outside world.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement office. Majority of the class of every batch will get selected. They will teach you and train you for placements from 3rd year itself only. Average salary can be of 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels, don't expect too much, as they're built by British. They Just remodeled them. A room can accommodate 2, with 2 beds, 2 cupboards, one table, fan, and light.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is built by British, as it's a 99 years old University. Everything is built on that time only. They’re just changing them accordingly with time. The infrared is fully furnished and air conditioned so no need to worry about that. The infrastructure also is very vast and big. Even it's built by British, they're still same strong.
 

Campus Rating
Not only Indian students, international students also study with you, so you can take advantage of that to learn English communication easily and you can find unity in diversity. According to the clubs and fests, at least you can visit club activity or a small event that happens in campus. Not only the entertainment clubs and events, most of them are related to students’ entrepreneurship, software clubs, and much more.

    I firstly prefer this university for its good standards government University in the state. The university is built in the middle of the city of destiny Vizag. This university has very good connectivity to the city through transportation like bus and train. I am studying at Andhra University’s Engineering college. It consists of 6 different colleges.     Andhra University is one of the best colleges in the country and it the well recognized institution. Andhra University is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 1926. It has received a score of 3.74 out of 4 and graded with A++ by NAAC. My choice of choosing Andhra University is that, it is one of the oldest and best public institutions.     Andhra University College of Engineering is very large in area and is located at the centre of the city. It is one of the best colleges to opt for pursuing higher education. University is equipped with many amenities like computer labs, library, basketball court, gym, cricket ground, etc. The university organises sports events and many other Government initiated programs.
