Review of Chandigarh University, Chandigarh

Overall Rating
I have joined Chandigarh University in the year of 2020. I have joined the university because of its high ranking and number of placements opportunities it offers. Currently, I am in my last year of my bachelors of engineering degree. Chandigarh University is the place which not only focuses on academic performance but also provides many opportunities where students can show case their talent by participating in various cocurricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
My course which is Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science field. Its current semester fees is INR 1,35,700. However, Chandigarh University provides various scholarship programs and CUCET exam which can provide scholarship up to 100% if scored 90-100 in CUCET exam. A student having 50% percentage in 10+2 Examination is eligible for applying for CUCET Entrance Exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Chandigarh University hire faculty only when the teacher meets the CU teaching criteria and with past teaching experience. The teachers are fully trained with having degree or certification. The frequent Teacher Feedback forms are sent by the CU where we can give feedback and rating to the subject teachers individually. Each class has projector facilities and fully furnished lab with good electrical connectivity.
 

Placement Rating
In the session 2023-2024 total 904 companies have visited CU and offered total 9124 jobs which are registered in the Limca book of records. This speaks for CU in terms of placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Chandigarh University provides rooms and facilities according to the types of rooms they select. It has separate AC and Non-AC rooms, single bed, and multiple beds rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
When it comes to infrastructure, the CU has one of the best infrastructures in India. It has the two types of infrastructure. Bricked type infrastructure in D-Blocks and A-Blocks and Cemented type infrastructure in B-Blocks. Both type of buildings is fully furnished, with clean washrooms and filtered drinking water in each floor.
 

Campus Rating
Chandigarh University is a bit of crowded. However, CU manages it by proper timetable scheduling and datasheet allotment in three shift morning, afternoon, evening by which the limited number of students come in an alternative manner. Moreover, CU organize fresher parties and CU Fest, Tashan Nights, Bollywood start visit, Technology Exhibition, Strongest Man competition, and many more events which engage students in enjoying as well in learning new things.

    The factor that made me choose Chandigarh University is its affordable course fee as compared to other law Universities.     My experience at Chandigarh University is wonderful and memorable. It focuses more on practical and that doesn't mean it avoid theory, it balance the theory and practical. For a Law student, it's necessary that there is practical exposure with theoretical knowledge.     I chose Chandigarh University because of the reputation it holds. The campus is really huge, and infrastructure is top notch. Each and every facility is available in the campus.     Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities. Clarity of concepts is given by the faculties by which they stand out from others. Also, the teachers have a good teaching experience.
