College Review by a 2nd Year Student

Overall Rating
Overall, the college is good, the faculty is good and very helpful. The student culture is decent, the college campus is small ,and no nearby places to enjoy after college. But plenty of cafes and canteens in college which makes the campus interesting. The college seniors are surprisingly super helpful and easy to reach out to. They always are available for guidance, and the placements at the moment are kind of average as expected.
 

Academics Rating
Academically the syllabus is outdated just like every college has in India. But the culture lets you know how to cope with it and how to be the best as well as up-to-date. The cultural and technical societies in college are good, I can reassure you as I am part of two, regular workshops, and sessions are there for latest information.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is surprisingly good, the teachers teach from the basics and in-depth. Teachers themselves have a rich background and are super cool and supportive. Some teachers will become your friends and guide you a lot personally. They will help you at times too, faculty always keep themselves updated with the latest technology and news.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell does well. Companies like Amazon and Adobe do come on campus and overall offer an average package of 8-10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are average, you can live in them. The mess is good and the hostel life is really amazing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is decent and the amenities are sufficient for sure, it is upgraded at regular intervals. College Management constantly works on making it better and better, we always see something new in the campus. The infrastructure is strong and really able to handle the student load and faculty rooms and their facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is average, it can be pretty good and be pretty average at times. You may get bored after a while because the campus size is comparatively small. There aren't many places to roam around or hang out, but the events that happen from time to time occupy our interest and attention. The auditorium always has some interesting events going on.

  • MAIT New Delhi's Career Development Cell and Job Opportunities

    MAIT Delhi is IPU affiliated and self financed institute. Campus life is boring and average. Infrastructure is good for CSE related branches. My mentor told me for first year you only need 40% overall attendance to give end sem exams. Teachers are also decent. We have to do many assignments and file work. Placement culture is also average, mass recruiting companies hire mostly for 4-5 LPA. If you only want to do CSE, you can prefer MAIT Delhi.... Read Full Review

    My experience of MAIT New Delhi is quite good. I chose the institute because it was in my home city. The coding culture academics and college life is good in comparison of other IP affiliated colleges.     MAIT New Delhi is well maintained. Faculties are nice placements are decent. Student crowd is helpful and smart. Institute clubs are active and many fun activities occur here.
