My overall experience in the college is at par as expected by me before coming to college, a combination of a pool of brightest minds, unreal competition, best academics, lots of societies, and a great infrastructure. My motivation to come here was to broaden my horizon for the carrier and grab the opportunities arising in the field of commerce.

My course B.Com Honours is a generalised course on the basics covering many topics about commerce. It is considered one of the best courses that can be studied in Delhi University, and doing it from SRCC is no less than a cherry on the cake. After the introduction of CUET(Common University entrance exam), there is no barrier of marks of the 12th class, Now students with even 70-80 per cent marks can enter the college provided they scored good marks in the entrance exam, earlier the cut-off was around 99 per cent every year. Getting admission in this course makes you somehow job-ready to some extent but rather opens up your scope to enter different fields largely. The only requirement to get into the course is having passed your class 12 and beating the heat of the competition of CUET.

Faculties of the college are really very good. It feels really great to study from the authors themselves having very vast knowledge about their subjects, But more than the faculty I would say it is your peer group or the classmates that makes the academics of the college this much strong.

Yes, there is a dedicated placement cell at our college that breaks placement records every year at the UG level. I am currently in 1st year. I don't have real ground reality experience yet, but as per the seniors, it is the best at Delhi University.

Yes, the college offers hostels for both boys and girls with a capacity of around 150 for boys and 100 for girls, again ensuring your admission in college doesn't ensure your confirmation in the hostel. There are further cut-offs for the allotment of the hostel on the basis of CUET cut-offs.

The building is quite aesthetic, the red brick buildings with a clock tower, and college full of greenery is a scene to watch out for. The overall infrastructure is also very nice with a very large library and Wi-Fi installed on the campus. The classrooms are also very good. There are only a few Delhi University Colleges with air conditioners, so this factor should also be considered.

I am quite satisfied with the overall campus life, it took me some time to adjust myself to this highly competitive institute and to mix up myself with students coming from all parts of India. I am yet to make good friends, SRCC is considered the best college when it comes to fests and events. People have a misconception that it is all about academics but that is not true rather it is only 10% about academics and the rest 90% covers extracurriculars.
