Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce B.Com Review By Mhaskar Piyush

Firstly, if anyone asks me for a college for B.Com, I will definitely suggest SCAC as I have developed myself here both academically and socially. The energy in this college can't be verbally explained. There are a number of events held in the college related to academics, culture, etc. Also one of the factors that make SCAC a better college is diversity and international relations. There are various events which are held with students abroad where we are able to connect with international universities and students.

I have enrolled in this college for the course of B.Com but definitely the college gives you more than that. There are various courses offered such as B.Com with ACCA. Admission in this college is very smooth and efficient. The admissions for B.Com are merit based (12th marks). The average cutoff of the college is 80% but the details can be collected from the college directly.

All the teachers in SCAC are highly qualified. The teaching is very good. All the teachers are very supportive and answer our all the doubts without hesitation. Currently, I'm pursuing B.Com with costing specialisation. All the subjects are interrelated with costing such as economics, mathematics, etc. Definitely the faculty is very efficient.

SCAC offers great opportunities when it comes to placements. The Placement Cell of this college is very helpful and resolves all the queries. The only requirement is to create a good profile for getting placed in the desired company.

I'm a resident of Pune that's why I haven't applied for a hostel. But my friends have good reviews about the rooms and the mess facility.

SCAC is located on Senapati Bapat Road Pune. The campus of this is college is a bit small but looking at the enthusiasm of all the students you'll never feel that way. There are 2 buildings in total; 1 for the students of SCAC and Symbiosis School of Economics and 2 is for the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan which is an auditorium where many of the events take place.

SCAC provides a very good campus life. There are numerous clubs in the college conducting various events round the campus. Some clubs include Symbiosis Audit and Assurance club, Cultural Club ArthKosh, etc. To get into the clubs you just have to give an interview taken by your seniors. All the seniors are very friendly and guide you in a very good manner. The flagship event of SCAC is 'Symagine', where many intercollegiate competitions are organised with many popular artists coming to perform.
