Overall Rating
The overall experience at Miranda House is very good. From cultural activities like fests to the intellectual environment you get to grow up in, everything about Miranda House has a certain charm. I chose this institute because this is one of the best colleges of the best Delhi University. If you plan to get exposure, in terms of academia and other fields, this is the place for you.
 

Academics Rating
I am a student of English honors. The English department of the Miranda house is the best. The faculty and syllabus will make you fall in love with English literature. I had given CUET UG, the requirement was passing 12th standard. The eligibility criteria was 1 language (English) and 3 domain specific subjects. I love reading books and writing, hence an honors degree in English appealed to me like no other. Also, it opens a lot of career opportunities in journalism, research, and academia.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are passionate about English and are well experienced. You may definitely like the teaching style of most of the professors, however exceptions are always there. The professors teach the subjects passionately backed up by a lot of critical thinking. Most of the teachers have a degree in research and some of them are still pursuing it, however, the faculty is very good. The classes might get canceled at the last minute, other than that, everything is fine.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in the college. The college students have access to various good placements however; most of the students prefer to pursue their studies further. Although the placement packages are good enough, most of them are corporate. However, exceptions are there. Some placements are really good.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes. Miranda house has hostel facilities. The hostel of MH is known for its calm and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and the infrastructure is good. The hostel food is like most of the hostels. I am not in the hostel but I have heard about it from some of my friends. The tough thing here is that the hostel seats are decided on the basis of merit and the seats are very low as compared to the number of students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Miranda House's infrastructure is often considered the best in North campus. The greenery and the brick building will have long lasting impact on your mind. The college has separate arts and science blocks. The science block is newly constructed and has elevators. The auditorium, mini auditorium, heritage hall, student activity centre, and the seminar hall are the places where most of the functions are conducted. The college library is the best with a lot of books available. The college also has a computer lab which is open for students. The amenities and other things are good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at Miranda House is good. The crowd is creamiest layer of students from all over the country. The intellectual discussions with teachers and your fellow students help you grow. The annual fest Tempest is one the best fests of Delhi University. Although, from the last few years, entry to boys is barred. But the solidarity you feel once in college cannot be compared to anything. The college also has various clubs, cells, and societies which help you keep up with extracurricular activities.

    I will be very honest on what is so special about our college Miranda House College. We all aspire to get maximum benefits or maximum gain at a bearable cost. Our college provides the best education facilities, best faculty members, good infrastructure, and hostel facility at a very affordable price.     Miranda house is the one of the best college of DU. I feel blessed to be in this college. I want to be an independent girl and want to experience free environment so I choose this college.
