My RVCE Experience

Overall Rating
Overall, I would say it's a decent college with very good placement opportunities and decent college life. The college provides students a very good platform to build alumni network. I chose the institute as it is one of the best after IITs, NITs and BITS and has limited student intake.
 

Academics Rating
There are various courses offered with eligibility being clearing KCET or COMEDK exam with more than 65% percentage in 12th boards and 70% in 10th boards. The Bachelor of Engineering course offered is of 4 year duration in various specialisations such as CSE , ISE, AIML , Mechanical, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well versed in their fields and subjects. Most of them hold a PhD degree in their respective fields. Faculty mostly uses traditional teaching techniques with addition of modern methodology and courses. Each student is assigned a counselor who guides and solves all our problems in the college premises.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement cell in our college is very active and helps students by conducting regular talks and training sessions.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is decent with building being old and libraries and lab well maintained. There is Wi-Fi provides internet in the entire campus and can be accessed by all students. Other amenities such as basic health care hospital, 3 canteens, sports complex, etc. are available for the students. Each branch has its own block, separate labs, and buildings.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, I would say that the campus life has been disappointing. There are many student cloud but most of them are not supported much by the college authorities and are run by students itself. There are not lots of things to do at the campus as its area is small. Fests are very well organised. They are considered as the most popular and biggest fests organised by an engineering college.

    The overall experience at the college was amazing. The college takes exam every month but it builds your character as well. I chose this college because it is well reputed and has well qualified teachers as well.     RVCE is a very well-known and respected institute of Bangalore. Since I have been living in Bangalore for the past 13 years it was on my list. I chose RVCE because the placement statistics were really impressive, and it is situated in the IT hub Bangalore. However, after joining the college I realized how placement oriented the college is and how much academic pressure they can put.     I personally like every aspect of the college, right from their curriculum to their faculty. There are many opportunities for students aspiring to be great engineers.
