College Review on the Birla Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
This institute’s environment is very good. All my friends here are good too. The people of Jharkhand are also very helpful. The institute is situated in a peaceful environment. The weather is very decent. Hence, this a great place to study and live. I have received a seat in this college through CSAB.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen the course, Electrical and Electronics Engineering here. The placement of this course has an average package of 12 LPA. The eligibility is just you have to score 90 percentile in the JEE Mains. The scope for this program is very wide in the future and that’s why I chose it.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is very helpful and calm in nature. They will solve your problems. But they are a bit aged and sometimes strict. The faculties are from prestigious colleges and are full of knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
The overall average placement package of our college is 11 LPA. For my branch the average package is about 12 LPA and for CSE is it 21 LPA. Many big companies also visit here like Amazon, Flipkart and Nvidia.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel life is very good because we enjoy a lot here. We play football, basketball, tennis and badminton at night. There is a common TV room, where we have lots of fun when it's the season of IPL and other world cups. But the staff here doesn’t maintain cleanliness regularly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this college is good and under construction. So, it will develop a very good campus in the upcoming years. There are various types of shops, so you can buy anything you want. There is a library with air conditioning and many others things too. Various sports events are held in this college.
 

Campus Rating
There are many kinds of club and activities here that you will enjoy a lot and will not bored at any cost. They are usually held at the end of the month. There is a drama club, acting club, tech club, etc. There also occurs a tech fest in October. The overall crowd is 5,000 students.

    My experience of BIT Mesra has been mixed. The positive aspects of this Institute are its placements, its highly qualified professors and its reputation. On the negative side the Institute has been investing very little lately and sometimes. The facilities provided are very frustrating.   • All You Need to Know About BIT

    I got a decent rank of 27000 in the JEE mains, 2023. I was hoping to get ECE in PEC Chandigarh, but in the last round of CSAB I couldn't get it. My next choice was BIT Mesra. I could have got AIML but during counseling I had no idea about this branch, so I had chosen ECE. Apart from this the college, infrastructure and campus are very beautiful and good.
