Best College In Kochi

Overall Rating
It was a good experience at this college. It is the top 4th ranking government college in KTU University. It has good placement opportunities with highest package of around 52 LPA and an average of 6 LPA. It is located in Thrikkakara which is very close to the city of Kochi.
 

Academics Rating
To get into this college you have to clear the KEAM entrance examination and have to score a good mark and rank. You can get Computer Science Engineering with a rank of 3000 and the last rank of ECE is 6000 and it has a new branch Electronics and VLSI which will have a higher demand in future.
 

Faculty Rating
The college has a good faculty. Most of them are highly experienced teachers. It contains individual labs for every course and NEE advanced equipment’s and experienced teachers are there in labs. The college has many programs other than the course for the skill development of students which are free of cost. The teachers are also very friendly and supportive.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college contains two buildings or blocks. One for circuit’s branch and the other for non circuit’s branch. The college has electronic and communication lab, 3 computer labs, mechanical lab, biotechnology lab, civil lab, a large library, an air conditioning auditorium, an external auditorium, physics lab, chemical lab, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The college life is awesome. The college conducts a lot of festivals such as tech fest, arts fest, traditional and cultural festivals, hackathons, etc. The college has a lot of clubs for skill development and internships for students. The college conducts the south India’s largest tech festival called EXCEL.

    The overall experience of this institute is just good. This is one of a best engineering college in Kerala. I pursued B.Tech in VLSI. I have chosen this college because of the placement given by the college to its students. Also this college is situated in a well known city, Kochi.     From the very beginning, I started liking this college. The campus life is not that bad like the outsiders say. The faculties, staff and students all of them are good. The classes they are providing are nice. All the tests are conducted on time. I chose this college mainly because of the placements they are offering.     Overall, it's a good experience. The course curriculum is highly relevant to current standards and comprehensive in covering key skills and concepts. Equal priority is given to both theoretical and practical knowledge. The way they manage students and conduct exams is impressive.     MEC is one of the top colleges under IHRD. It has a strong Placement Cell and Training Cell. It offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in various branches.
