Vel Tech University fees is on higher side

I have joined the college for its good infrastructure and I thought it may be a good fit for me to start building my career but the amount charged now in university is very high and it is nearly 4 lakh per year and for this price the quality of education provided is not that good. They only provide theoretical classes and no practical classes were given in the name of labs. They only try to complete the courses. In my point of view, if you are thinking to join this college then focus on learning and developing new skills and don’t just rely only on the college.

The course I joined was Computer Science and Engineering and if you need to reduce the fees you need to give an exam which is conducted in the university otherwise the same fees will be charged. No eligibility is required but you need to complete your 12th with more than 50% and I enrolled in this course because I had interest in computers and coding.

Faculties were good and trained but the teaching standards was not so good because they only focused on finishing the syllabus and not on teaching practical contents and not checking the students understanding about the subjects.

Campus was good and organized as they are charging too much amount so the campus and buildings are quite good. Canteen is also good and academic blocks were quite clean and well checked. The campus and overall infrastructure of the college is well maintained.

Overall experiences of my college life were good and neat. Club activities and other tasks were also organised here frequently. Everything you require for getting jobs need to be learned by you from the beginning of the college. the college was equally focused on extracurricular activities.
