Honest Review of Vivekananda Global University

Overall Rating
This university is for those who are looking to complete their graduation with very less fees and with quality education. I have choose this university because it provides integrated courses where I can complete B.Sc (Agriculture + MBA) in 5 years with just 6.5 lakhs including the hostel fee.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility for the ABM course is 12th in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or a diploma in agriculture. Agriculture has a vast scope in the future. If you learn the techniques and new innovations of farming, you are an asset to the country. Marketing helps you know how to market your produce. The course has more value but I suggest you do it from an elite institution if you can afford it so that you can get good placements.
 

Faculty Rating
The most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D but are inexperienced in teaching. They just came to this university to gain experience. So, they don't provide practical experiences to you just only theoretical knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell but it will get active only during placements. They will give training for developing soft skills just 1 week before placements. The placements are not good as they bring local companies to hire students at low salary packages and most of the jobs are for marketing.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 boy’s hostels and 1 girl’s hostel. The hostels are nice. There are single rooms with AC which are costly and double occupancy rooms which are affordable. The mess food is not good and it provides only vegetarian food. 2 canteens are there inside the campus. Events occur very often like DJ nights and celebrity nights. Everything provided here is of good quality. Full freedom is given to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 main blocks. One is the main campus building which is for the Agriculture and B.Tech students. The other building conducts classes for all other departments. The technology block is where the classes of the robotics students are held. Purified drinking water is available on very floor. The classrooms are very big and have digital boards.
 

Campus Rating
The Panche fest happens every year in February for one week. In this fest students set up their own stalls of food and art. Many sports events occur regularly. A hackathon with the prize pool of 10 lakhs was conducted. Students from other universities also participate in these events, making it competitive. The university has a very diverse crowd; you can find students from other countries studying here.

    I am a student of Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. My experience in this university is good. My reason for choosing this university is that it is famous for everything. It is famous all around the Jaipur due to their promises of placements, their infrastructure, and their faculty.     Overall, my university is good. As it is a private engineering university, it doesn’t have perks of NITs and IITs. However, I really am enjoying my life in this university.
