Overall Rating
My University, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, is one of the best universities in Uttar Pradesh. It is a central university and has a large number of courses from BA, B.Sc, B.Com, etc. to Masters in various subjects. It is widely famous for its higher studies i.e., Ph.D in various subject backgrounds. One should join this university to get access of better education and to interact with highly knowledgeable professors. My university can also be seen as a hub of diversity in students as well as within the courses.
 

Academics Rating
As I am pursuing, Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics as my honors subject. One can apply for Bachelor as well as Masters courses through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) as a common entrance for various central, state as well as private universities.
 

Faculty Rating
The subjects of my courses are Economics (Hons.), Political Science and Sociology. I, as a student of BHU have got the opportunity to learn from highly qualified and experienced professors. Professors of my university are highly qualified as well as well behaved and strict. It helps us to seek more and more knowledge from them.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in my university. But it has limited placements and sometimes no placements.
 

Hostel Rating
My University is the biggest residential University of Asia. It provides hostels to at least 50% students and has nearly 75 hostels. Its high residential facility makes it different from other Universities in India. University is still trying to provide more hostels seats to other students by constructing new hostels for boys as well as for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Most of the buildings of my university are constructed in structure of forts with strong pillars and strong base. It has been constructed before the independence of India and hence it has the old and attractive structure of buildings. My university is spread over near about 1300 acres with a large number of trees and plants. This greenery and the trees make my university a place with moderate temperature and wonderful natural beauty.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in my university is quite interesting because of its open university structure. It is open for outsiders also. They use well constructed roads of the university on daily basis. Because of historic 'New Vishwanath temple' located in mid of my university, university roads seem more busy and crowdie and sometimes creates problems for students. Various fests and cultural programs has been organised in the university by the efforts of students to promote and increase extracurricular activities.

    For me, BHU Varanasi is one of the best universities in India to study Law. The biggest strength of the Faculty of Law here is its alumni network.     BHU Varanasi is a very reputed University with good ranking and has a very good environment. There are a lot of facilities available for students such as free bus services, free health check up and even free medicines for students at health centres by using their health card.   • BHU Varanasi Central Library is Called 'Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Library'

    I am from Banaras, so choosing Banaras Hindu University Varanasi came out as a great option for me. All the things here fascinate me like the green and the peaceful environment. Moreover, the central library here is 24/7 open and has numbers of books. Students come here from all over India and some from even different countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.     One of the factors that made me choose BHU Varanasi is its well-known central library, which provides lots of books as well as high seating capacity for the students to study. Another factor is its affordability and the reputation it holds.
