Pune Institute of Computer Technology: The Best Institute for Software Engineers

Overall Rating
This institute is famous for its coding culture. You will get supportive seniors and classmates. Everyone's passionate about something here and that drives us crazy. The hustle to explore things other than academics is the best part here. You have to standout and create opportunities as a few opportunities are provided by this institute.
 

Academics Rating
Pune Institute of Computer Technology stands out as an institution committed to academic excellence, fostering a dynamic learning environment that caters to both the intellectual and personal growth of its students. This institute offers a robust curriculum which lags modern technology and requirements under the SPPU university’s syllabus. Being an upcoming autonomous body, I hope these things get changed.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at this institute comprises of experienced and dedicated professors who are not only experts in their respective domains but also passionate about teaching. Their innovative teaching methodologies and commitment to their student’s success creates an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere. The faculty members are approachable, providing personalized guidance and mentors.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at out institute which offers assistance in getting internships and placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There are residential facilities in Pune Institute of Computer Technology. But it has a very old infrastructure which causes various unavoidable problems.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very small but it is equipped with the required instruments for studying and experimentation purposes. Amenities like a gym, table tennis, basketball and volleyball court are available. Along with these, for study purposes there is a library and a reading hall where you can study. The campus is equipped with high-speed internet connectivity, comfortable study spaces and recreational facilities, ensuring a balanced and enriching campus life.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life feels the most interesting during the first year. But the crowd here is supportive. This institute has clubs which are active only during fests. The flagship event is the best part of Pune Institute of Computer Technology. Other than this, one annual fest is also organised.

    I just completed my first year and the overall experience was quite good. PICT Pune completely focuses on academics and skills. Here, there are many clubs, CCA credits, etc. but extracurricular are not that much focused on. Factors that made me choose were the coding culture and placements here.   • My experience at PICT

    PICT is one of the top engineering institutes. I got decent marks to be able to take admission in this prestigious institute with the topmost branch (Computer Engineering). I was preparing for JEE and JEE Advanced but wasn't able to crack it. That's why I took the MAH-CET exam, and I did exceptionally well in that and therefore, I was able to take admission in this prestigious institute.... Read Full Review

    PICT college is the one of the best technology college in Maharashtra. In my college the placement is the best part. The college provides best faculty members to educate us.     Pune Institute of Computer Technology is one of the best Institutes of the Pune. Previously, we had three courses only i.e. Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics and Tele-Communication. Last year they added two more Courses, first one is AI-DS and second one is ECE. They offer the best educational infrastructure.
