Our college is overall great placements and internship opportunities are provided by great companies. Our college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has a ranking of 27 by India Today in 2020 and 59 by NIRF (2020).

I joined bachelor of engineering (B.E.) CS as I always had an interest towards it. Yes, the course is as per my expectations. The faculty and studies are really helpful. Almost every classroom is smart classes for helping students understand the concepts better.

The faculty is great and very helpful. Sometimes you might find yourself feeling bored in lectures but when it comes to solving your issues and queries they are always there to help you. They motivate you and help you to achieve the best and your academic and life as well. Every teacher is great in his teaching field. Teachers are highly qualified and some of them have even funded projects from ISRO and IISC.

The placement in our college is quite good. All the core branches have great placements and the average package goes Rs. 6 lakhs per annum while the highest package goes approx. Rs. 25-30 lakhs per annum. All the branches have guaranteed placements but the CSE branch has a 100% ratio of placement. Last year the highest package was Rs. 25 lakhs per annum which was provided by Morgan Stanley.

The college is surrounded by different types of accommodations like flat, PGS and hostels. There are separate hostels for girls and boys, there are also separate hostels for freshers and seniors in boys’ hostels. You can opt for any of them. The food is satisfactory in the hostel. The hostels are well ventilated, clean, and hygienic. There are separate areas for drying clothes and different stuff. Necessary services of ironing and laundry are also provided in the hostel.

The infrastructure is very good and student-friendly. Free Wi-Fi is provided all over college and one of my favorite parts is our canteen. You can find food that is affordable, tasty, and hygienic as well. All the laboratories, classrooms and libraries are well maintained and well ventilated. If you belong to a sports background you might find some issues because we have one common ground for all the sports.

Campus life is great here. Annual fests and celebrations are organized for entertainment and the overall growth of students. Kannada Rajyotsava fest in November and Udbhav in March is one of them which are organized on a greater level in our college. There are also task fests by IEEE-RIT. Every debate competition is also organized by our college which is considered as one of the biggest debate competitions in South India. We have three libraries which are well maintained and well ventilated as well. We also have different clubs according to different interests of students like dance club, music club, etc.
