Not going to lie, LSR was not my first choice as I wanted to study in a Co-Ed college. Although after coming here, my opinion started to change. Everyone in this college including students, faculty and the staff will make you feel like home. Here no one judges you for what you've done or what you haven't, giving you fresh start. My confidence has increased rapidly within one year of me studying in this beautiful college where I stay for most part of my day. Coming into LSR really did change me, not just my confidence or fashion sense or my communication skills but it also made me a kind human being who cares about other humans, animals and our environment.

LSR being a top college in India has the best courses available. It has top professors who have great teaching style and work ethics. The course for commerce is simple yet tough. We have different labs to study for each subject. Each classroom has a projector where we can present. Professors use microphones so that their voice is easily audible. The fee if we talk about is much less compared to the facilities they provide. It also has several societies which help a child build up their extra-curricular and other set of skills other than academics.

Almost all the professors in LSR have done Ph.D in their respective fields except for some young professors whose Ph.D degree is still ongoing. The professors are well-experienced. Whole staff is very sweet and knowledgeable. Even if you're from one department and want to learn subjects from another department, the college facilitates you with NEP which helps us to interact with professors from different departments. Till now I've had great experience with each one.

I am also a placement cell member so yes there's definitely a placement cell in LSR. It’s one of the most important parts of the college. Several big companies are linked with us who come to LSR for on- campus recruitment. We also have several speaker sessions for students to help them build their CV, provide them internship offers from top-notch companies. We have been ranked #1 in UG placements. Every student gets a good placement based on their performance over the years.

I personally do not stay at the LSR hostels but I have heard they are really good. Right now they are under construction but they have good rooms with clean bathrooms. They are also just behind the main campus and are at walking distance from the college.

There are 4-5 blocks with 20 classrooms in each block. The whole campus is so spacious and green. We have an amphitheater, several gardens, and exhibition halls. The whole place is built so beautifully with a mix of modern and ancient type of infrastructure. We have a canteen which looks ancient in the best way possible. We also have a mother dairy shop and a Nescafe canteen. There's a hallway in front of Nescafe where students sit around to talk or eat or relax. We also have tables outside in the open where we can eat.

I love my campus life. Diverse students I meet from other departments really open me up as a person. During fests, you get to meet so many new people from different states, different colleges with different lives. My parents in the start didn't really like the idea of fests but once I started going and seeing how happy it made me, they also became happy for me. You get to enjoy concerts of top singers like Shreya Goshal and Shaan. There are so many shops and all of this is so safe because only college students are allowed. The security while entering a college is top-notch. No one is allowed to just walk in. It is very safe. There are many competitions by which students can go to different colleges including IIMs or IITs and participate & win prizes. It provides great exposure.
