VIT Chennai is best if you get yourself enrolled in category 1 and 2. Even if you go to category 3, it is good too. Considering category 1 and 2, you would actually do a good investment and would get results much better. The fees in category 1 in VIT is equal to IIT fees and talking about education, the quality is also good and much better than the other private engineering colleges. Also, VIT Chennai is a fully digitalized campus with no or less paper use. It has software’s and websites for everything even if you have to submit your assignments or apply for a mess change or leave, a website is always ready for you. There are various clubs and societies you will find in the college to take part in and also the college gives you credits to take part in the club which helps the students to complete their respective credits under their branch faster. If you are getting a seat in VIT, it is preferred to lock it.

Academics in VIT Chennai is much better than any other private college. It also provides you various fields with specialisation to study and pursue your career in. You will also get a chance to research in any area you like to, regardless which branch student you are. You would get opportunity to research in foreign universities too with highly qualified professors from all over the world. You also have the option to choose your own teacher and timings at which you want to study that particular subject making it more efficient for the students to make their own timetable and also have me time to work on their skills and personality development.

VIT university has all PhD teachers and professors. Every teacher is well experienced and has done research in their respective areas. The faculty are very friendly. They give their level best so that the students understand the concept better and not only theoretically but also can apply them practically. In VIT you also have a proctor assigned to every student so that you could share your problems with them. The proctors are the faculty itself and they know the common things which a student in college might face. You won’t find any difficulty to reach out the faculty if you face any doubt or problem during your course of study.

This is the most important aspect that every student searches for in every college before they apply for it. I would say the placement in VIT is very good. There are many offers such as regular, dream and super dream offers. You will find Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant etc recruiting students. The placement cell at VIT Chennai takes every other initiative regardless of which year student you are of. You would always find your inbox filled with Placement cell mails conducting various seminars, workshops, talking with foreign universities and opportunities which you can apply for, etc. Also the placement cell gives option to study and pursue your degree abroad with high classed and top universities.

Talking about the infrastructure, VIT Chennai has a lush green campus. Even if you get stressed by the studies, the environment outside is always there for you to chill. Getting to the academic blocks of the university, they are well maintained and some of the rooms are even air conditioned. The out sourced food stalls are also good. There are various shops inside the campus which makes easier for the student to buy their personal and academic stuff. There is different place for parking your vehicles and for teachers too. You will find auditoriums and newly built buildings of Gym and Sports Facility which look very attractive. The hostel buildings are also well maintained both from inside and outside. VIT Chennai is located a bit far away from the main city. You may find a long distance from the railway station and the airport. It takes around 30 mins from the Chennai Airport to the university.

Campus of VIT Chennai is really great. You would definitely find time during weekends to enjoy with your friends around the campus. Going through the green campus in the evening is all what you want. I think you can enjoy your campus life at VIT Chennai definitely in a different way and won’t regret at all. You will find places where you can do your work and focus much better compared to your hostel room. A cup of coffee, music on and your laptop with chilling nature is best option to focus and complete your all tasks of the day.
