My POV of IIT, Varanasi

Overall Rating
IIT BHU is one of the top IITs. It is located in Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India. When I get to know about IIT BHU 's campus beauties, placement status, alumni network, clubs fest, etc, I felt satisfied here.
 

Academics Rating
The academics of this institute are not much hectic. You can get good CPI easily if you pay a little attention to your studies (20% hard work of your JEE preparation). You can find yourself busy on Friday to Saturday due to hectic Time Table (especially Electrical Department).
 

Faculty Rating
The professors of this institute are very good in terms of knowledge. Syllabus is completed timely. Each professor had assigned their teacher assistant to take tutorial class, assignment, and quiz. Tutorial sheets and their solution are provided after completion of each topic. You can approach any professor for the depths of knowledge in their special domain. 75 % attendance is compulsory.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is good. There is well organized Training and Placement cell in this institute for approaching companies. Approximately, all the students are selected in office campus placement. If you study in IIT then do not take tension of placement.
 

Hostel Rating
In case of hostels, they are very old. Until 2nd year, three people stay in one room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIT BHU is an open campus .Departments of this institute is very old but it looks very beautiful. Electrical Department is the most beautiful place in this institute. Apart from IIT, you can also visit nice places in BHU. Lecture halls are good. There is no AC in classroom and hostel .
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good in IIT BHU. You will find many good places to visit around the institute like Vishwanath temple, Ghats and many more. Ragging is not allowed in this campus. You get good opportunity to explore yourself due to many clubs under the council like SSC, SNTC , SCS, FAC, and Cultural Council of this institute. Many fests like Technex, Kashiyatra, Jagriti, etc. are organized in this institute, which you can enjoy.

    Overall IIT BHU is good in terms of placement from every other IIT. You should definitely put some good choices in counseling and put some good branches.     IIT BHU is currently ranked 10 in NIRF ranking 2024. The college has very good environment for academics and personal development. So many clubs and societies are there to help a student in his / her extracurricular growth. The college has tech clubs like aero modeling, robotics, coding club, and more.     The overall experience at IIT BHU is like dream fulfilling, had a rigorous curriculum, research opportunities and highly educated faculties for the academics. I really like the sports facilities offered by the institute and joyful & memorable experiences at the festivals. But when it comes to hostel life is really get emotional because hostel is the true heart of the students where they live for 4/5 years as their home and friends as siblings.
