Christ University Bangalore: Admission Process, Courses, and Career Prospects

Christ University, is very good, actually. It provides good exposure and great level of education. I prefer this institution because it is in Bangalore, which is IT hub of India which allow me to easily enter the employment world. That placement is very good. Here the population is very huge which makes it unique, comparing other universities. The location of the university is also a great thing which makes us to choose this university as it is located at the centre of the city. The alumni connection makes it stand unique.

I am pursuing bachelor of commerce honors which is a much known course of the university. This comes under the department of commerce, which is the oldest in the university. It carries a legacy that is very great. first student should apply online through Christ university website and there would be an entrance test followed by Personal interview round. The personal interview round also consist of micro presentation. A student must have passed 12th grade and would have scored minimum of 60%. They conduct examination in the mid of the semester. Also at the end of the semester. The academics here makes us strong to face the real life challenges.

The fee for the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) course is Rs. 1,04,000 per year. It includes all the charges. Scholarships are given by university to students who are below poverty line and other categories. The Karnataka state students get a concession and pay Rs. 15,000 less than the normal other state student.

The faculties are very knowledgeable. Most of the faculties have completed PhD, which is great achievement. Mostly all teachers are PG graduates. The teacher to student ratio is around 20 to 1. The faculties are very easy to approach and friendly. They are well versed in the subject and can solve any problem asked by the student. They teach using blackboard or whiteboard or projectors to present presentations. They also conduct activities and group discussions which make learning very easier.

Christ University provides great placement, mostly 80 to 90% the students is placed. They conduct many placement campaigns and conduct sessions to improve the employment skills. Top big firms like EY, Deloitte, come here, and hire students. The average LPA is around 3 to 5 LPA for a B.Com student.

University provides hostel facilities to both boys and girls. The hostel is separate for both boys and girls. The food is decent. It is provided in a subscription basis. The quality hygiene is good. The hostel fee without food is around Rs. 60,000 per year. A student should be inside the hostel before 9 PM. ID card has to be punched every day within 9 PM.

The university has a very good infrastructure. It has its own library, labs different size Auditorium, GYM, and everything. The library has around 2 to 3 lakh books. It provides separate library for both UG and PG students which make them very easy to refer and study. Peacefully. University provides good sports and medical facilities. There are health centers in every blog for students to visit which is free of cost, no consultation fee is charged. The university has all types of grounds and courts which enable students to play and enhance their physical skills. My favorite thing in this university is the library where I sit and study peacefully. There are seminar halls where group discussions and meetings takes place. The university situated in the heart of the city, which makes students to travel to other places very easy.

The overall campus life is very good. The crowd is a very knowledgeable crowd. There are lot of clubs to join and take party in activities. I have been a part in various clubs. We can engage in different activities organized by Christ University,. Events and fests are unlimited. There will be fest happening every week. This is the main good thing of the university as we get to enjoy a lot.
