BCA Course at Christ University Bangalore: Fee Structure and Academic

It has been more than 2 years studying in Christ University, and the experience is excellent. From getting the peak, academic knowledge to having fun in fests and getting sessions by working professionals, it is a complete package. I chose this university because of the high ratings of the course and the course structure they offered which is upto industry standards. I also looked at the course offered by other universities and it is not updated at all. The opportunities are also great if you work for it

I chose the course BCA and I chose it because I was interested in studying Computer Science. However, I found my interest in the subject too late and I took Commerce for my high school. The eligibility criterion for my course is for you to have 80% marks in 11th and 12th grade. The exams schedule in this university is pretty strict. They occur almost every month for normal courses and practical evaluations for my course, which matter for your overall GPA. Other than that, there are 3 CIAs, which include assignments, mid semester examinations, and end semester examinations. The academics do prepare me for real life challenges, learning the basics of coding have helped me develop a strong foundation to learn any language required.

The fee for my course is Rs. 1, 60,000 per year. Other than that, there is an only registration fee, which is applicable when you fill the form and continue with the admission process. There are scholarships and financial aids for students who require it. Students can ask for it in administration office.

The placement cell at my university that works tirelessly to provide students opportunities at all times. Every class has a placement representative who sends and notified the class for any available opportunity. The packages offered by the recruiters depends on your skill, they can be as low as 3 LPA to 4 LPA or highest to 20 LPA.

The university offers accommodation at cheap rates for male and female students in campus; however, they are very strict they follow a strict attendance roll call both in the morning and at night. The curfew is at 9:30 PM. The fee for the hostel is around Rs. 60,000 per year.

The campus has several blocks, 6 blocks, which accommodate several courses and departments. The campus is big for a mid city campus. It has various canteens and food options. Many places to hangout between classes and rest. The campus is located in the middle of the city in South Bangalore. There are academic facilities like 2 massive libraries, group discussion rooms, several gathering halls, two auditoriums and many other facilities. The university also provides parking to the students who require it. There are also various labs in the university for examinations and practical evaluations. There are sports facilities like tennis court, football ground, and basketball courts. I love hanging out near the benches located in middle of the campus which provide a peaceful spot to relax between classes.

The campus life is amazing. As the university has several different departments almost every other week, there is a fest going on and the vibe is on another level. The university crowd is amazing they are very friendly, educated, and respectful. there is no ragging and any animosity between students. There are also several clubs for engaging in activities, which students can find out about. The university also provides several activities mid semester like trekking. These are organized by several groups in campus. The fests and events are a regular occurrence and anyone can participate in them and win prizes. The Christ University campus offers both academic and fun environment.
