Student's Perspective on Sona College of Technology Salem

Overall Rating
The experience in Sona College of Technology Salem is quite nice. I joined this university in 2024 by 12th marks. I thought joining this college is hard but it is quite simple. I suggest my junior to join this college for the Infrastructure and many things I appreciate this college for the teaching qualities of teachers and friendly attitude of them. If you are searching for decent institution with some normal fee, then Sona may be the right choice
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Mectronic course. Because I want to work and create robots. I am interested in researching about it is working. There is no entrance exam, required to join this. Students need to be passed in 10+2 only. Exams are quite easy if we study hard. They prepare use for many exam not only in college other than inter college exam..
For my course, I paid around 1.5 Lakh in Management quota.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are quite different and their teaching style is very good. In which every student can understand. The background of faculty is they have completed PhD in some good universities such as IIT, IIM, and NIT. They all use their PPT for teaching and sometime Math is taught in board. The problem solving and teaching abilities are top notch as well. The teacher and student relationship is good with respect. We can ask your doubts at any time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 5 blocks for engineering with attached canteen. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors. The favorite spot on our college is playground. We have a large playground to spend time.
 

Campus Rating
The overall review of Sona College of Technology Salem is 4.9 for 5. There are many clubs in your college like Dane club and sports club. I am part of the dance and sports club which will teach me and increase my skills. The campus life will be joy with studies and other activities. There will be many event in our college such as Diwali and Pongal.

    I was very much interested to join this college for Mechatronics Engineering course. I'm fond of Mechatronics and Electronics, and this particular college has a great environment to study those subjects.     I am a first year student (batch 2024-28) from Karur, near Salem. This college has great liberty for students who get average to high marks. If you are a local in Salem, this college is a wonderful option as it is number 1 in Salem (private). Scoring 30/50 in monthly exams is decent enough for teachers.     This institution has very knowledgeable professors and teachers. They are very kind except some teachers. The college gives you full freedom that you can go outside for important works and this college canteen has some excellent snacks for the students.
