Overall Rating
This institution has very knowledgeable professors and teachers. They are very kind except some teachers. The college gives you full freedom that you can go outside for important works and this college canteen has some excellent snacks for the students. This institution is best for students who prefer to stay in Salem and pursue a degree and it has some excellent placements as well. This college has excellent and friendly teachers. Seniors are also very friendly here.
 

Academics Rating
The course I choose is Mechatronics Engineering. I choose this course because it was offered to me in counseling. I have chosen Sona College of Technology because it has excellent placement. If you want to join Sona College of Technology you need good marks in 12th. It takes nearly 2 days of admission. Every month there is an internal exam and for every 4 months it has semester exams. The academic challenges that I face daily has developed my mind and my abilities.
My course at Sona College of Technology is Mechatronics Engineering. The fee of my course is nearly Rs. 1, 20,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
Sona College of Technology has excellent teachers who are doing well for students. The faculty here has nice and strong background. They teach in a way that has more effective like group discussion. The faculty has some excellent problem solving skills. The students and teachers ratio is 15:1 I think. They have some excellent skills and experience for teaching and they are very good and kind. They teach in an easy way. The college has some excellent faculties that can guide the students in an effective manner.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are very good at Sona College of Technology. Many companies visit the college for offering placement opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
The boy’s hostel is very nice at Sona College of Technology. It has vegetarian food and no non-veg are also allowed here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Sona College of Technology has some excellent infrastructure and maintenance. It has nearly 30+laboratory and workshops. The classroom has excellent ventilation facilities and water facilities. The canteen has low price foods and more goods to purchase. The college has excellent library and we can go to their anytime and study. Sona College of Technology has excellent security. The buildings have some excellent architecture’s like the admission block building.
 

Campus Rating
Sona College of Technology has been for nearly decades and I like the teachers of the college. My college life was excellent. The college has enormous crowd and it has nice places to visit. There are many clubs. I didn't join any club but if you need to join, there are many ways to join these clubs. Every end-semester has cultural events and every event has been has been an excellent program. My college life at Sona College of Technology is very good and I have enjoyed a lot here.

    I am a first year student (batch 2024-28) from Karur, near Salem. This college has great liberty for students who get average to high marks. If you are a local in Salem, this college is a wonderful option as it is number 1 in Salem (private). Scoring 30/50 in monthly exams is decent enough for teachers.     The experience in Sona College of Technology Salem is quite nice. I joined this university in 2024 by 12th marks. I thought joining this college is hard but it is quite simple.
