JEMTEC: GGSIPU Affiliated Engineering College

I enrolled in JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus because it is affiliated to GGSIPU New Delhi. Moreover, I got positive reviewers from a lot of former students when I enquired about this institute. When I came to this college, I was impressed by the excellent academic facilities. All professors and assistants are highly qualified. The campus is decent and various events are organised at the institute which enhanced my experience. The institute primarily focuses on practical learning. In conclusion, the institute is good and offers a number of opportunities to students.

I enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program with the Computer Science and Engineering specialisation. The eligibility criteria or entry requirements are dependent on JEE scores. The admission process is very easy to follow and staff is helpful & polite. Portfolio credentials, JEE results, class 10th, and 12th marks sheets are needed during the time of admission. In this institute, my academic experience has been mostly positive. The academic facilities at the institute are designed to enhance future opportunities for students. Professors are extremely knowledgeable with industrial experience in various fields. The exam frequency reduces burden of the students and we get time to do some personal learning.

The annual fees for my course is around Rs, 1,50,000 and the total fees is between 5.5 LPA to 6 LPA. It includes all the internal charges such as admission fees. Students also have to pay Rs. 10,000 security fee.

The faculties at the institute are highly trained with technical expertise, good communication skills, and industrial experience. The teachers give their 100% to improve learning environment for each individual student. They ensure that students understand each and every concept rather than letting than letting them learn difficult topics on their own. Furthermore, they are always ready to resolve any doubts of the students. Teacher student bonding is very good. There is always a positive atmosphere among teachers and students. The student teacher ratio of per class is around 60:1. I think the number of teaching staff available at the institute can be improves as it makes learning sometimes difficult.

When compared to other colleges, placements at JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus are good. A decent amount of companies visit the on-campus placement drives with good job offers. The Placement Cell at the institute trains students for interviews and other employment opportunities. Some major recruiters at the institute are IBM and TCS.

Students can access residential facilities at our institute which are very nice. There are total 2 hostels in our campus which are separately available for boys and girls. Hostel fees for non-AC room is Rs. 1,15,000, whereas for AC rooms the fees is Rs. 1,35,000. Some of the amenities available at the hostels are laundry, internet connectivity, gym, CCTV surveillance, geyser, water cooler, AC, and attached washrooms for every room. Hygienic, nutritious, and good quality hostel food is served to every student. There is no entry after 8 PM until there is a valid reason.

The campus of the institute is situated within Educational area in Greater Noida and spread across approximately 5.5 acres of land. Its buildings are old but are very well maintained. The institute has AC classrooms with proper ventilation. Libraries are well-kept, silent, and peaceful, with a huge collection of books. The seminar halls and auditorium are air conditioned which are used for various events. Canteen, sports area, and medical rooms are also available in good conditions. Although, there is only 1 transport bus which is a minor issue. My favourite part of college is amphitheatre.

There are several clubs and societies like Navras, Hashtag, Geek Room, and other local clubs. These clubs and societies organise various events like hackathons, singing & dancing competitions, etc. I enrolled in hash-tag society which was a hackathon and coding society. Every month there are at least 3 to 5 events organised by our club which includes different fests, zests, and other activities. Annual party, fresher party, farewell party, and many more celebrations are conducted at the institute.
