VGU Jaipur: Best in Academics and Extracurricular Activities

Overall Rating
Overall experience at the University is worthy, joyful, and the most memorable part of the life. This University provides a chance to explore different areas of interest, as several interesting activities, games, competitions, etc. keep taking place in your chosen field. One thing that helps this University standout in my view is that as a student you can enroll and participate in activities apart from your chosen course.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Sc in Forensic Science; it is as interesting as it sounds. You will be gain knowledge about the legal factors and procedure to solve the crime. Process for the admission is simple, as, 12th pass students can apply for the entrance exam of the same course in University and after result can proceed for the same. Exams are divided into semesters. One semester consists of six months with two midterm exams and one end term exam. And they keep conducting some or the other sort of seminars, presentation, extra classes which educate us about how to deal with real life challenges.
The fee of the course I have chosen is around Rs. 50,000/-. We had to pay the fee on a semester basis. They have some scholarship based on your percent of the 12th standard and the result of the entrance exam. There are some other facilities available for who cannot pay their fees all together at a particular time.
 

Faculty Rating
Friendly, caring, and loving faculties are there in my department. They are all helpful and caring for each and every student. They provide equal opportunity to all the students. Especially the HOD of the department, Dr. Umema Ahmed treats everyone very kindly, she helps you in every problem either it is personal or academics. Faculties of my department provide a safe space to share and also help us resolve our problems.
 

Placement Rating
There is a separate cell for the placement of the students which provides placements. Every year a job fair takes place where 100+ companies came to join for the same and take interview and shortlist students either for jobs or internships. The placement cell tries to provide placement to every student.
 

Hostel Rating
VGU Jaipur provides students with the service of hostels including mess. Hygiene and quality of the mess food is up to the mark and there is a separate team for the regular checkups on the quality of food. There are separate hostels provided for girls and boys in the campus only.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 different academic blocks in the campus excluding hostels, where different departments are separated. Classroom size is big with green board and AV facility. Each block carries different library available for different departments. There are different grounds available for the different games like basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton etc. Moreover, there is a canteen facility; a huge auditorium, 3 big seminar halls, 3 conference rooms, and more facility are present at campus.
 

Campus Rating
For a student, VGU Jaipur provides good and memorable campus life as it offers engaging activities like celebrity nights on every occasion, along with it celebrations, bonfire, movie nights, cultural dances keep taking place. The most interesting is the annual fest known as ‘Panache’, it is a four days event with 50+ activities taking place where each student gets to participate in at least 3 activities. All the staff members also take part in different activities which helps you bond stronger with the teachers. Overall experience of the campus life at this University has been great.

    I am a student of Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. My experience in this university is good. My reason for choosing this university is that it is famous for everything. It is famous all around the Jaipur due to their promises of placements, their infrastructure, and their faculty.     Overall, my university is good. As it is a private engineering university, it doesn’t have perks of NITs and IITs. However, I really am enjoying my life in this university.
