'Confluence' is An Annual Fest of Hansraj College New Delhi

Hansraj College, New Delhi is a College with different cultures, good infrastructure, excellent teaching staff and a very helping non-teaching staff. The factors that made me join my College were mainly the certificate as it is a valuable certificate which has been helping me till now. College rules are lenient and not too strict but were supposed to be followed which was most important for everyone to learn. The staff was very understanding and helpful. The College has a pleasant infrastructure which gave me really positive vibes and enthusiasm to go to College regularly. Attendance system is also very convenient for students and College timings are also manageable which helped me to spare more time for my competitive exam preparation.

The course which I took was B.A, because it helped me with my competitive exam preparation and this is the course which has a high demand in my College. Entry requirements are strict as College security won't allow if we don't have our ID cards and outsiders aren't allowed. This shows the high security command in my College which is very good for everyone’s safety. Admission process is also very convenient and easy for students to enrol. Exams are conducted strictly and in a well-mannered way. Academics really helped me in facing many social issues and I resolved all those greatly with my College learnings.

Fee for my course per year was Rs. 18,000/-. Everything was included in this only. Semester exam application fee was Rs. 500/- and those are refundable. No discounts in fee but many scholarships are given to students making it affordable to them and to study without any financial burden. Scholarships are 50% or 25% of their respective fee.

The faculty is very talented and are from a highly educated background. They teach through PPTs, blackboards, group discussions, and quiz. Teachers helped us a lot in our doubts and there are separate classes conducted for our doubts discussion too. Faculty were very approachable and supportive in every matter. There are many guest lecturers who come from foreign countries with high education background to teach us.

Placements are good enough at Hansraj College, New Delhi. Every course has their respective Placements.

Hostel is well maintained and very clean. Moreover, the fee is also very low and affordable for students.

Infrastructure is very good. There are 2 sports rooms, one Badminton Court, one Basketball Court, 2 Canteens, 2 Photostat Shops, and a big auditorium. Classes are very big which can accommodate 200 students and those are all air conditioned. There are 2 medical rooms, a 3 floored library building, and one amphitheatre. My favourite place was lovers point where I enjoyed most of the time with my friends.

Besides my studies, I enjoyed my College at most with all my friends, teachers, and security & created an unbreakable bond with them which gave me the best experience of my life. College crowd is huge and I made many friends other than my course too. There are several fests conducted in our College. The annual fest of Hansraj College, New Delhi is called 'Confluence'. There were many clubs like NCC, NSS, Green Warrior Club, etc. which I was a part of.
