Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur Review

Overall Rating
I think it is good university for local students who want to pursue professional course like BCA, MBA, hotel management etc. But overall it is not for those students who want better jobs. Its fact, Almost 90% Student in each branch, Each Year are Unemployed. Some of them go into depression after B.Tech, and studious type student spend 1 to 5 year clearing GATE, IES, CAT etc. so they can fix mistake of B.Tech from UIET. Some take TCS, Wipro Job after Difficulty.
 

Academics Rating
I joined BCA. There is simple entrance exam of taking a BCA in this university which can be cracked by anyone. I thought that it would be OK for me but I was wrong because there is no level of study, as I had to hear.
 

Faculty Rating
A few of them are friendly, some like a schoolteacher. But I can assure you that most of them are scary. Avoid it. They will try to treat you like shit. If you are protesting, show your work by giving it below the appropriate mark or sometimes failing. What are you going to do about it. Oops let me fix it. What can you do about it? Nothing. Their activities are secure. All the Director can do is giving it to others who are committed to investigating it.
 

Placement Rating
You can say that university has its placement cell but it is not good. Because mostly student did not grab best job after doing any diploma program here.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is not bad but its situation is not good for current time. Yes Girls and boys hostels are separated. But I can't say what is the fee of hostel, because I didn't live there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Well to be honest, the position of BCA staff is very supportive and well educated, even though most of them had a Ph.D. The BCA departmental infrastructure is beautiful, beautiful, and the entire campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and computer labs are not maintained with the help of the lab even 30% of computers are in good working order. The library is fully Wi-Fi and air-conditioned, and almost had book in various locations. Hostel infrastructure is excellent, food quality is enough to digest. Campus has its own cricket ground, basketball, badminton stadium and two swimming pools.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good till now because there is no burden of study. It is good for social activities like women campaign etc. many activities are continued held on. Good college for MBA student. There are many clubs like social club, it club etc. for helping the student.

    It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch.     My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.... Read Full Review

    I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.     Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
