IIS University BBA Review By Shweta Chauhan

My overall experience as a student in IIS University was good and satisfactory. Everyone in the university is very supportive and helped me to complete my 3 years of academics at the University. The campus and the experienced faculty members are the main reason for me to choose this institute. The whole campus is divided into blocks and each block is having their block plan where every student will get to know that which classroom is mentioned at which floor. The second reason for me to choose this University for my academics is experienced and supportive faculty members. They did not only focus on theoretical knowledge but they also try their best to teach the courses in practical way. There are extra curriculum activities like sports, drama, dance, singing, social services and many others. Therefore, this university has various streams and various options for a student to build their career. It also provides additional courses with main course. For example, a student can get the degree of International Business Course with the degree of BBA course by attending classes on time. As per my personal opinion this university is one of the best universities for girls to build their career.

I personally prefer to opt for BBA if you are choosing this University. The main reason is the entry procedure which is very clear and understandable for students. There is no such specific requirement for entry but a student should get at least 60% marks in their senior secondary. After that, we have to fill the entry form which includes general information of the candidate and the mark sheet senior secondary. After submitting these forms and mark sheet the faculty of the university will send a mail for counselling session of the candidate on a particular date and time. In this session the faculty members (at least 2) helped the candidate to understand the course and their future career opportunities related to the course which they opted in the form. After counselling session, they asked the candidate to fill another form of conformation for choosing the particular course.

Faculty is one of the main reasons for most of the student to join the university. The faculty members are supportive and always ready to help the students in their academics and other curricular activities. Neha Sarin ma'am, Ishika Ma'am, Ashish Khandelwal Sir, and many others faculty members teach BBA course in the University. They use smart techniques to teach the courses to the students. They use Smart boards, provide lecture notes and other course materials to the students which further help a student in their semester exams. The assignments and projects given by teachers are very helpful in learning.

The IIS University has the Placement Cell which is placed at the D-Block of CIT building. The placements are very good and helpful for the students to develop their career. First of all, the Placement Cell faculty helped us to get prepared for the interview while setting the set up same as official interviews. They teach us how we should sit and behave in-front of interviewers when they arrive the university for placement purpose. The faculty of Placement Cell also helped the students to analyse the appropriate response of few of the common questions asked in university placements. They also provide review on regular basis regarding the performance of the candidate in simulation training for the placement. One of the best things of IIS University Placement Cell is that they try their best to attract more recruiters almost in every industry for the campus placements.

The whole campus is divided into 7 blocks and each block is having their block plan where every student will get to know that which classroom is mentioned at which floor. There are overall two buildings in this University, one is called main building and another is called CIT building. The main building has the classrooms for different courses like BBA, B.com, and many others. Whereas, CIT building has the Placement Cell, a conference room, etc. A computer lab and a textile department at the top floor of the building. All the chemistry labs, physics labs, and mathematical labs are placed in main building of the university. There is a bridge which connects the main building to CIT building. There are lifts at each block of buildings. The campus has three canteens and a stationary for their students. The ground floor of the main building is having library where we can get books and journal articles of almost each subject. The library also has the digital screens where the current news is shown. There two gates of entry and exit in the university. The university also has a lawn area where sports activities are conducted such as cricket, 100 meter race, and many others. There are two basketball courts beside the lawn. There is a well developed parking area between the lawn and basket ball court. Each floor has the washroom and water point area which is clean and full hygienic. The gym and yoga classroom makes the campus a better place for students to spend their extra time in the university.

The overall campus life of IIS University is good and full of enjoyment and excitement due to their events and extracurricular activities. 'Nukkad Natak' is one of the best events which was conducted at the end of each month where the team of Nukkad Natak provide important message of social services or any current affair happening in the society. There are overall 4,500 students enrolled in various programs of the university. There is a gym and a yoga classroom which make the campus life more exiting for fitness freak students. Every year some celebrities from Bollywood, politicians or any other popular identity become the part of the annual fest of the university. Dance, singing, and drama make this fest more excited for students. This fest was conducted at the backyard. University also conducts annual competition of sports with other universities where they invite the participants of other universities and manage their accommodation in the hostels or campus area. Last year, the basketball team of the university won the Southeast command trophy of the basketball competition which was conducted in Chennai. Cosmos- The Annual fest is also one of the popular fest of the University where different students show their talents to the crowd of the university. In short, the overall campus life is good and full of fun.
