The faculty for the most part has been good so far. This is from the perspective of a student who studies and pays attention in class. So, if someone faces issues in class that would be more or less a mistake on their behalf. Also, this is about the faculty that is teaching us and not the whole of Christ. I have five major subjects, and then we have two mandatory electives. The faculty of five teach us the subjects that are assigned to them.
The professors are well qualified with Ph.D. diplomas in their field of study. The elective courses are being given to us online on the Swayam platform. This is an added burden for the time being because this increases our screen time. But keeping these aside, the faculty consists of highly qualified professors. They have been able to adapt to the online mode after learning different platforms such as Webex, Google meet, and Microsoft teams and are teaching us tirelessly. We have already completed a semester and given our end-semester exams. This has been made possible after the efforts of the faculty and management of Christ.Read Full Review
The faculty at Christ are well trained and has teaching experience ranging from 2-35 years. Most of them hold a PhD and are actively involved with research, publication, and presentation. They have a great deal of subject knowledge wherein many come with hands-on industry experience. This helps to cater practical examples and industry-relevant scenarios into the classroom discussions and blend the textbook learning with critical analysis and association of the concepts. The faculties are extremely understanding and approachable. On several personal as well as academic occasions I have found myself under the warm support and guidance of several professors even after the class hours, with an open mind and no judgments. The teaching methodology is commendable as it includes a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentation with a principle focus on nurturing business communication: group interaction and presentation skills. Alongside, workshops, conferences, and guest lectures are conducted on a regular basis which provides a great deal of exposure.Read Full Review
In last few years or so dwindling of faculty is visible. Friction with management is one aspect, while some have moved on for better salaries. Moreover, the location is a little far as MBA college has shifted to Kengeri campus is really far and traveling became an issue for not just students but also faculty. Most of the professors of the School of Business and Management are PhDs. Quite a few of them are busy performing cutting edge research in their department. Most of the faculty were knowledge-driven and helpful. Issues were there, but thumbs up from my side.Read Full Review
