Academics were monotonous because attendance was like the utmost thing here. We were provided exposure and a lot spotlight was thrown outside academics. However, if you love to be in the spotlight then make sure study your best. Everything related to academics is being closely monitored. You will have to take care of this part as rest all things will be taken care by the college. All the semesters had a hell lot of subjects and studies at times may look like dull but as a student one had absolutely no choice but to go on with it.

Each class has very few students and that helps in building a connection with faculty. Every now and then we used to have doubt session classes and what we learn during the course of the week was solved upfront. We were taken on industrial tours every now and then and exposure provided at SJIM was unbelievable. I am finding it extremely difficult to write because some good things can never stop and SJIM was that without the slightest of doubts. Education was all about exhibiting your skills and all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy was duly followed here. Participating in sports was compulsory over here. Activities that took place at the campus had an essence that would help us grow our management skills.

It takes some doing or should I say extra doing because one has to have 550+ in MAT as the cut-off is always close to that. In my previous college the four walls are what we saw and here more often than not we were taken for outing. Here exposure was the main substance as we would go out not just on industrial tours but were taken out to take some break from the studies. Sometimes lectures took place in the gardens of the college. Group discussions and doubt solving programs were the best that I saw. You will be entirely prepared before the exams and one has to thank the college management for that.
