Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication Faculty Profile, Pune

The faculty is amazing, there is an HOD for each specialization. Most of the faculty members have PhDs. The faculty is very friendly and easy to approach. For some subjects, there is guest faculty from other Symbiosis Institutes. The college frequently conducts guest sessions with industry experts, which provides a nice opportunity to network and interact with industry people. The faculty of this college is really good as every teacher had good industry experience with their field. The teacher student ratio for my specialization was almost 50-60 students with one teacher. Those teachers are very friendly and approachable. A student can learn a lot about the industry by just talking to the faculty.Read Full Review

Around 80% of our faculty members were those who belonged to media industry and brought some of their real-life experience in the classrooms. Our classes were more of practical situation where many hypothetical situations were provided to us and we had to find answers for them. Apart from core faculty, we had the opportunity to learn from them, network with some of the giant media houses and gain as much insights as we could.
