Faculties at Thapar University are top notch with great experience and qualifications. All have passed the minimum criteria of doctorate in their fields and minimum 5 years of teaching experience. Method of teaching is through projectors and PPTs in the lectures and white/black boards in the practice sessions or the tutorials. Teacher to student ratio remains 80:1 during lectures and 25:1 during the tutorials or the practice sessions. Faculty members at Thapar University have a good blend of experience as well as expertise in their respective departments. All the faculty members that are conducting lectures from 1st to final year have a doctorate (Ph.D) in their subject. Most teachers use PPTs as a source of explaining course content/teaching material but for some specific subjects, Practice group discussions and experiments are conducted wherever required. The faculty is experienced enough to address all curriculum-related queries of the students. The University has a decent (50:1) teacher-student ratio. Many faculty members are very open and welcoming towards all non-academic queries of the students if they are approached with one.Read Full Review
