The current B.Com Program aligns with the industry trends and entry requirements are straightforward. Once application is done through the MCC portal, the first round of candidates is selected on merit basis as per their 2nd PU marks (generally 85+ is the criteria but may differ each year). I enrolled in this program to gain practical knowledge in Finance and Business Management which are crucial for my future career. The emphasis on experiential learning through projects and internships has honestly given me some of the best insights into the business world.

I am very happy to complete by B.Com in Mount Carmel College in 2012 and the course did not have any entrance exam. The students are chosen purely based on merit. Students with more than 85% will be called for personal interview and based on marks and personal interview the students are selected for the course. MCC is one of the best-known colleges in Bangalore for girls and it a sister run college. The college has highly experienced faculties with rich subject and research experience. B.Com in MCC falls under top 30 in India and it was one of the top colleges in Bangalore. This made me decide to take up the course in Bangalore. All the subjects taught in the B.Com course are well structured and syllabus were updated and as per the expectation. The course has placements from various tax, finance and banking companies based out in Bangalore and in others parts of India.
