    I am currently enrolled in B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at this Institute. One can get into the Institute by clearing JEE Main examination. The admission process is controlled by JoSAA administration. For getting CSE, EE and ECE one has to score exceptionally well. In academics, there are typically 4-5 theory subjects and 2-3 labs (can vary as per departments). Exams are held two times per semester, one is the mid-semester exam and then there is end-semester exam with subjects having their own Class Assessments (CA). The curriculum is basically theory subjects and labs for the hands-on experience. It totally aligns with the placement criteria in today's competitive world.
    At this Institute the total fees of my course is around Rs. 85,000/- per semester for General / OBC category students. This includes Tuition fees, One-Time Fees, Caution Money, Library Fees, etc. Apart from this Hostel charges are free but for mess facilities around Rs. 20,000/- per semester are to be paid. Students from SC / ST categories don't have to pay tuition fees; they only have to pay the registration and Mess fees. Students can avail various scholarships and for that you have to talk to the Scholarship Cell of the Institute. There are Tuition Fee Waivers for students from Economically Backward Classes. Students can also apply for Student Loans at a very minimal interest rate.Read Full Review

    NIT Durgapur, West Bengal Admissions: Know About JEE Rank and More
    In this course, you will learn different subjects like Building & Construction Planning and many more. For getting this course, you should have a rank of around 36000 around in JEE Main for general category and around 40000 rank for General EWS category. The academic provides enough to be ready for the outer world. Admission process is somewhat lengthy and hectic. You have to do submit many documents.

    NIT Durgapur Placements, Hostels, and Anti-Ragging Policies
    I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because I was interested in it in my 10+2. For anyone to take admission in this Institute, they have to qualify JEE Main with a certain score and rank which changes every year and then apply for the Institute and the interested branch in the JOSAA counseling. Exams are held 4 times in a single year along with some class tests and lab tests.
    Fee of every semester is Rs. 82,800 for general candidates. There are few discounts for specific category students like Gen- EWS, SC, etc.Read Full Review
