My overall experience in IIEST Shibpur is good. The campus is surrounded by greenery and very clean environment. The major factors which made me choose this Institution is its less fee structure, location which is near to Kolkata city and strong curriculum with strong alumni. The last reason was that it is 2nd oldest Engineering Institution in India which is established in 1856. It does have all types of travelling facilities available.Read Full Review

My overall experience in this institute has been good so far. The lush green campus offers a good environment for studying and living. Infrastructure is being developed constantly and will continue to grow in next few years. There are various clubs and societies to be a part of. I am in my first year and overall experience is good. However, facilities should be improved. Students in this institute are very helpful and crowd is good. I chose this institute because of the placements, which are nice.Read Full Review

It has been 6 months here in IIEST Shibpur and the experience was really good. The academic, social life and most importantly being able to make friends from all over India is the thing I liked here.
