I was keenly interested in computer science and was lucky enough to get the computer engineering branch in SCOE. 65% of the total seats are filled through MHT CET, while 15 percent of the seats are filled through management quota. You need to pass your 12th exam to be eligible for this course. The reason to join this course is mainly that I was interested in coding and programming. Another reason is that computer science is definitely future-proof and there are a lot of job opportunities as the tech world is booming.
Speaking about job opportunities, as we all generally know, computer science is in a lot of demand only because of the guaranteed placements and amazing job opportunities! So I can assure you that if you get into Computer Engineering in SCOE, please do not hesitate to go for it as the average package for computer engineering is a little less than six LPA and if you work hard you may even end up getting a higher package. Talking about the expected difficulty of the course subjects, I always was interested in programming and stuff. But in the second year, I realized that there is theory too! Jokes apart, as far as I have heard from my friends, I feel computer engineering course is pretty easy and manageable as compared to other branches like electrical and mechanical engineering, etc.Read Full Review
Academically, the Sinhagad College Vadgaon totally meets the expectations. The college is very strict and disciplined considering the academics and performance of the students. In engineering, one has to study many subjects, the count goes up to 45+, throughout the 4 years of course. But the college has an arrangement that makes sure that no subject is left behind. We are taught every subject with same focus and depth. Missing classes is not the option. The college has strict rules against bunking. Here, we learn under some very great and knowledgeable teachers who pass their legacy of knowledge to every student who is willing to get it.
