IIT Roorkee Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus is really beautiful with greenery all around. Also our lecture halls meet with every facility a student or a faculty needs. Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus. We have online attendance system. Library is open for 24 he during exam days and up to 12 in mid night in regular days . Library is full of enthusiastic students.

Campus life I would say is best when it comes to IIT as you are exposed to all the extra curriculum activities sports, games, events, and activities like trips. The infrastructure of the campus is very good. All academic blocks are fully equipped with air conditioners and heaters. The academic buildings are new and the classrooms are also well maintained. The main attraction of IIT Roorkee is its iconic James Thomason building which looks very stunning. I may say that some hostels (very few) are old but they are also under renovation. The administration here has maintained a very good infrastructure.

The campus life here is amazing like you study with the great minds of India. You interact with people from different state and different mindset. The fests here are also very good. Thomason the cultural fest of IIT Roorkee is the biggest cultural fest of North India. We also have a tech fest named Cognizance which is also the largest tech fest of North India. The lecture halls are well furnished and have air conditioners so students don't have to sweat in summer and can concentrate well. They are spacious and elevated to ensure students can see blackboard. The academic building is very popular and is so famous that many actors have come here for shooting.

Campus Life is amazing here as they are many activities going on. The clubs here organise various activities and some take students to visit places. There are two fests which are crowded with many people across India. Several students visit our fest and experience events like pronite in which various celebrities come.Read Full Review
